I Wish You All the Best by Mason Deaver

dnf 45% —i tried so hard to like this book and to like the main character but it was nearly impossible. every time i picked up the book i'd read only a few pages. i love nathan so much and he's the only reason i got as far as i did. idk how to say this nicely but i felt like the writing for this book was so amateur, and felt like the author really doesn't know how to write high school students and it got so frustrating. also, the diversity in the book was so .. cringe? it felt like the author put different types of minorities in the hat and picked them out as assigned them for different characters. the characters all felt flat and one dimensional except for nathan. idk, i felt like the book could've been so much better with way better editing but that's not the authors fault whatsoever.
