Epic Story? No. But it has a Happy Ending.

The first book was awesome, great story and that...was epic, what was between them, that's the reason why I started this story and the only interest I had, to read what happened between THEM.

The 2nd book : I HATED it mostly. I hated how loose Dan had become (sure, for reasons, but still..) I hated all the other characters who took advantage of Dan's emotions and lust (I didn't even read those sex parts with other characters.) Like I said, only Vadim's story and Dan's history TOGETHER interested me. So for that reason the part I did love was how they loved each other, how they struggled, how they got back together, how they solved everything, how much they loved each other. That, and only THAT, is the reason why I continued this story even though I sometimes felt disgusted when I had to skip through parts, not wanting to read them until it got back to Dan and Vadim.

The third book : I LOVED/HATED; Hated for the same reason as in the 2nd book, all that loose sex, from both of them, mostly Dan, calling it lust whatever, that's just not my cup of tea and probably why I won't read a book in this particular genre anymore.
Loved it, also same for the reason as in the first book, their story together, how they helped each other, how they finally talked to each other about everything (a relationship is all about communicating, guys), and of course the happy ending. If this didn't have a happy ending, I wouldn't have even bothered to read this.

This story would have been epic, if it wasn't for all that lust for other guys.

Now to the writing, that one was sublime, the lust well portrayed (the parts I read between Dan and Vadim that is). The fighting, the war scenes, the horror, the sorrow that was felt thorough, the hapiness, the scenes of love, I loved the writing so much.

This is the longest review I have (until now) written on here, since I got goodreads, but I just needed to get it out of my system.
