Reading about Patti Smith’s life and how she got to where she is now was so inspiring. Her writing is so vulnerable that it feels like she’s addressing you personally. I fell in love with her relationship with Robert Mapplethorpe and their connection through art. This made me nostalgic for a time I wasn’t even alive for.
Moderate: Chronic illness, Death, Drug use, and Terminal illness
If you are sensitive to descriptions of tripping on acid I would avoid this memoir or research what pages they appear on so you can skip over it.
