Between Walls by W.R. Gingell

4.5

This book feels somewhat darker than the previous ones. I loved that there was no instant forgiveness or anything from Pet; there was definitely some much-needed character growth going on in this instalment. I did struggle a bit to wrap my head around the investigation/mystery plot but there were enough side plots that kept me hooked that more than made up for it. The reveal about Morgana has me just about dying to finally find out about Pet's truth and what happened in her past - with each book, we get steadily closer to that revelation!
