Love Is a Mix Tape by Rob Sheffield

5.0

I read this book in three sittings. It was too hilarious to put down for the first half, then I only had time to read one chapter, and then it was too devastating to put down for the last half. [author:Rob Sheffield] is someone I would like to know, simply because I don't think I've ever heard some explain their love for music quite so desperately. And I mean that in an absolutely positive way. I'm a person who writes all up in every book I read, and the happy first half is underlined and happy faced and whatever, just because I couldn't believe how loud I was laughing at his words. But the second half, I felt like underlining his sentences about Renée would somehow keep it from being about her and his love for her and start it being about me and my love of words.
