2.5. Despite a really interesting third act, this book is mostly a slog with lots of unnecessary distractions, lacking a singular driving conflict. With fewer subplots and a less useless role for Luke, it would be a really good book. As it is, it's a middle of the road book with a few good ideas that gets too bogged down to be truly effective.
