I finished this sequel with the same contented smile on my face as when I read bk 1.  The frustrating thing was, that I didn't even know it wasn't the end until I flipped to Acknowledgments. (!!!) I read this on my phone because I couldn't wait to get my hands on the physical copy, but will buy both books for our school library, for sure!  Raises ethical questions about human interaction with the environment, other creatures and other humans. Interesting debate about what material to use to mend Mosscap - biomaterial vs a recycled part?  Fishing almost made me cry.
