“this is life, lottie. there’s no such thing as a happy ending. because there’s no such thing as an ending. more days keep coming, some good, some bad. you can’t just stay limboed in a moment of happiness. that’s not realistic.”

this was not at all necessary. there was no need for the series to be left on such a sad note. i didn’t mind the writing, because it was good as always (with the exception of soulmates) :) but it was just so unnecessarily depressing and i’m really trying not to let it ruin the series for me a little bit. sadly, i wouldn’t really recommend this to fans of the spinster club 3
