I loved, loved and loved this storyline. Vlad has Ben my favorite character in all of the past books in the series. Vlad and Elba have been married for six years but it has only ever been a marriage of a convenience despite that they both secretly wish for more. I love the writing style and the dynamic between the characters. I would have to say this is the best book of the whole series so far
