I thought this was one of the better Veronica Speedwell novels we've gotten in a while. I loved the humor in the book and was glad that that some of the will they / won't they drama from the previous books has gone away. 

The mystery was a bit odd, I wasn't really sure what exactly they were trying to solve by the 2/3 point in the book, and the ending felt a bit too neat and tidied up, but I enjoyed the book and was engaged the whole time
