SANDERSON NEVER DISAPPOINTS.
This was so good. I finished Starsight before Yule and jumped into Defiant last week. Having spent days in this universe in a short amount of time, I am so in love with it. The characters, the snails, the worldbuilding, the story. This series had me from book one (nearly lost me at book 2), but got me back and held me for book 3 and 4. I even started watching star wars because of it, and they feel similar in many ways (loving both)!!
I am an extremely picky scifi reader. I don't read scifi bc I think machines and scary and dumb, and don't particularly like ships, but Sanderson gave them all so much personality and empathy and... It just BLEW ME AWAY.
YES to this book.
