Beautiful. Just beautiful. Hands down, greatest epic fantasy I've ever read. I said it twice and I'll say it again: this story has everything you could ever wish for. This last book is the perfect conclusion, it's got stakes, emotional moments and a fulfilling ending (that ending THO, damn). Once again, I found the parts involving Aragorn, Gandalf and the rest of the company a bit more exciting and enticing (the battle of Pelennor: best scene) and Éowin will forever own my heart. Beautiful. Beautiful.
