Me, when I received this in my FairyLoot: ahh, I'm disappointed, I've seen this book going around and I'm not interested in reading it.

Me, having read it: I WAS WRONG

The story-telling methods in this book were just so enjoyable and it really kept me interested the whole way through. I wasn't too shocked by anything (plot twists, etc), but I enjoyed them anyway. I'm sure the sequel is going to be a blast! The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because I felt just a LITTLE disconnected from the characters. Plot was way interesting, the characters' motivations were solid, even the portrayal of Ren and her trauma and her past was good, but I just felt they lacked a little personality at times and didn't always feel like real people.

Welp!
