The Big Four
by Agatha Christie
This is the worst Hercule Poirot I have ever read. I understand that the supervillain plot was probably somewhat new back then, but basically picture instead of one Moriarty, four of them, and you get the idea. That becomes the trellis across which Agatha Christie strings a lot of improbable but related stories, as Poirot tracks down the villains and their death weapon.
It also has a lot more racism than most of the other Poirots, which is saying quite a lot.
