Deadpool, Vol. 1: Dead Presidents by Brian Posehn, Gerry Duggan

4.0

A fun Deadpool title. In the last five to seven years I thought there has been an over saturation of Deadpool, most of which lost the feel of the classic 90s stuff. This title although not quite like the that great run is better than a lot of the stuff out there. My favorite aspect of Deadpool has always been the fact that his crazy antics are covering up some real dark feelings. That was touched upon a lot in early Deadpool stuff but not so much of late. Posehn and company briefly touch upon that idea a couple times in the first couple of issues of this run collected in this graphic novel. I'm excited to pick up the rest of this run and see where they go with the character.
