I finally picked up this book from my shelf, while I will finish the trilogy for the sake of finishing it, I must say I was disappointed in this book.
The idea behind the dream catcher fascinated me, but the book itself did not live up to the expectation.
The sentences were short, simple, underdeveloped with no creative sentence structures at all. And what annoyed me the most was the third person tense it was written in. Plus, at the end of the book you still don't know more about the background of her ability.
Not to mention some content of dream nudity, a relationship with an underaged girl (but not seeing anything wrong with it), the occasional swear words which actually bothered me in this particular book, the 'chill' underage drinking etc.
Furthermore, the twist at the end was just plain unbelievable.. Because of course guys that lie to you in a relationship turn out to have a secret identity (don't want to say more than that as to not spoil).
