To Save a Sinner by Adele Clee

4.0

Started this book right before going to bed and I gotta say I haven't been so happy about losing a couple of hours of sleep (though I'm sure I'll hate myself in the morning) in a while. I just couldn't put it down or devour the words fast enough.

To Save a Sinner was fun, it was sexy, it was hot, it was sweet and sad, it was light and both the H and h were strong characters. I have to say the author did an amazing job and I think I fell in love a bit with Lucas. Helena was an amazing female lead. She is everything a strong female lead should be and I an happy to say the author didn't diatribe a simpering gorgeous flower damsel in distress. she was natural, smart, strong-willed and capable of doing what is right even when she may be putting herself in the lions mouth.

If you're looking for that then this book is for you... but if you are looking for a good read where both characters are great this is for you. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves historical romance and strong mc's.

My one and only complaint... I felt the pace in the book is inconsistent. one moment it's fast, other times it's slow. (Then again I'm supposed to be sleeping so my brain may be impaired.)
