Releasing Chaos by Lexi Ander

I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review, so I will endeavour to do that.

It has been a long journey to get to the end of this series, although the time has flown by with the fast pace of the books. Releasing Chaos is different only in length. Compared to book one, this is gigantic. I didn't feel the length though and really appreciated the fact it wasn't split into more books. At first, I wasn't sure about all the points of view, but they never wavered from the designated speaker and were essential to getting the whole story. In the end I appreciated learning more about all the characters.

Everyone gets their just desserts and happy endings and new beginnings abound. The journey to get there wasn't easy and I loved that there were twists and strife rather than everything being easy. The battles were fierce and so detailed I felt like I was watching it in a movie.

I felt the love and bond between all the characters and hurt when they hurt. There are some relationships that may seem odd to the average human but made sense to the lycans.

The series as a whole could have used a better proofreader, though. It sometimes took me out of the story when I had to decipher a sentence, but my love of the characters, mythology, and settings kept me reading on.

I eagerly look forward to reading the tales of the children and also hope there are more books in the magi series. I'm not ready to relinquish this world!
