A brilliant and, sadly, much needed look at the shamefully overlooked history of Black people in Britain throughout the ages, and of Britain's relationship with Africa including a strong focus on the slave trade and the horrendous role Britain played in it.
It is an interesting, informative, vital, sadly necessary, and thought provoking read. One of the most important books I've read in a long time, possibly ever, and it's utterly shameful that much of the history and stories within is not widely known or part of the education curriculum.
