Vengeance of the Pirate Queen by Tricia Levenseller
3.75
adventurous challenging funny mysterious tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

I loved the book as a whole, pirates will always have a piece of my heart when it comes to books.

This book follows Sorinda who is a member of Alosa’s pirate crew and the story focuses around her having to go on a mission for her pirate queen.

This was a lovely way to end the trilogy regarding the plot, but I also think the plot went off track slightly with what Sorinda was originally meant to be doing which was finding some of the lost members of her queens crew.

It went off on a tangent regarding someone they meet on the island they were told to sail to, and there seemed to be a separate plot regarding this character they meet which I felt like it focused on more?

Overall I really enjoyed it and this trilogy I would say is the better workings of Tricia Levenseller.
