I went into this book without ever having watched the film, but I was let down. I felt like there was a lot of disconnected action and odd character introductions throughout the entire novel. Mostly forgettable plot and resolution with the addition of a high amount of location changes prevented me from getting really invested in the various areas of conflict Bond was thrust into.
