The Masks We Burn by Lee Jacquot

4.0

Amora and William were the most fleshed out and sympathetic characters in this trilogy. I know this is book can be read as a stand alone. However, when you read this book after reading about the other couples in this world that Lee Jacquot built - I found myself most drawn to Amora and William. Their fears, their motivations, their childhoods - all of it was something I could connect to and I appreciate that in novels.
