Did not finish book. Stopped at 8%.

 The author hasn't quite gotten the hand of "show, don't tell" because the first 10 pages are an absolute word vomit of telling us all about the broody, grumpy hero and the sunshine-y , sexy FMC. It's all so in-your-face that it feels like you're reading a self-insert fan fiction, rather than a novel. The Mary-Sue effect is definitely a thing when it comes to the FMC.
