I didn't want to put this one down. It was a quick read, just a couple hours, and I felt so connected to Jack and Hal. The character development was great and, while there were a ton of cliche tropes that the author used/flipped blended into one, I'm a sucker for a good romance novel and this was really enjoyable! You really got to see the full evolution of the relationship, which is often missing from a "friends to lovers" novel. I don't know what would have made it a full 5 for me, but it was a solid 4.5/5 stars. I may even come back and round up.
