Nice Girls Don't Live Forever
by Molly Harper
Oh, how I love the misadventures of Jane Jameson. Nice Girls Don't Live Forever is an excellent addition to the series.
In this installment, it felt like a lot of plots that were set into motion in the previous novels were resolved, which always makes me happy because I like getting answers!
I have to admit I was very frustrated with Gabriel in the beginning. While his mysteriousness was intriguing in the beginning, I felt just as bothered by it as Jane in this novel, and I wasn't thrilled with the way he handled things. However, I was very sad by the lack of Gabriel throughout a good chunk of the book.
The other characters, however, more than made up for missing Gabriel. Zeb and Jolene are always fun characters to hear about. Jolene's crazy family keeps things interesting, so I was excited to see more of that continuing in this novel. And I love Dick. He's probably my favorite side character, and I also enjoy Andrea, so it was fun to have them play a bigger role throughout the book.
Plot wise, I enjoyed the mystery of Jane's stalker a lot. I felt like the plot in this novel was stronger than the previous one while still retaining the humor that I really enjoy about Molly Harper's previous work.
