Buddy Read with the MacHalo group.

This book was decent… I didn’t really feel like I learned much about who the characters were. It was all about their current thoughts and emotions.

The dystopian/zombie story was also ok. I did not feel that connected to the characters, and I feel bad saying this but I didn’t really care what happened to them.

I was a bit put off by Daniel's instalove, which was literally instant love/desperation at first sight.

I get why she went for it, I mean she was lucky enough to be rescued by not just one but two gorgeous men. I never really understood why both of them found her irresistible.
SpoilerI understand when they were alone, but once they reached the settlement?

In general, I do not get much from ménages but the decision to bring in Finn made sense given the dangerous situation they were in. He was already jealous and speculating fighting Daniel over her, so for both their protection he needed to feel invested in their little group. The sex was pretty hot too.

I did like that Finn & Daniel decided to go against their instincts to protect Ali all the time and allow her some freedom when she wanted it.

SpoilerBut why the hell do they want babies so soon???????? PLUS in a freaking dangerous dystopian area. For this I present one of my favorite gifs:
