The Bridge Kingdom by Danielle L. Jensen

"Ithicana-and its king-bent to nothing and no one. But he bent for her."
4-4.5 ⭐
I really enjoyed this book, after emerging from the one of the biggest reading slumps in my life. It was easy to get into, no major, confusing introduction to an incredibly complicated world. I could see the plot coming from a mile away, but it didn't bother me and I still couldn't put the book down during the final part.
The only thing I feel like would make this better is if the sad or impactful scenes just would hit that bit harder. Maybe it's the way this book is written or the build-up, I'm not sure.
