Killing Floor by Lee Child

Did not finish book. Stopped at 51%.

The writing is awful. Spends two paragraphs to describe something that should take a sentence. Too many fragmented sentences. The story is set in America but Lee Child is native of England and you can totally tell by the words and phrases he used.
