A Worthy Love by A.E. Valdez

ahh it’s been such a rough couple of days for me and i got so much comfort and laughter from this book. one minute i’m giggling & kicking my feet in the air, the next i was crying and holding my heart like it broke. the softness and sense of toughness in both characters, risa & ash kept their dynamic so damn intriguing. it’s like who’s gonna be what today…but let’s just say ash is mostly soft. my God asher makes me want to sob from how gentle, understanding and caring he is. i appreciate how his character was written so much because it’s rare to find a man who will willingly help you without getting anything in return. ohh and his patience. listen ash has everything i want in a partner, i don’t even wanna square up with risa cause i want her too! she’s so honest and open about her emotions to me, and knows how to set a situation damn straight if she wants to. her character embodies something very beautiful, as well as hurtful, real and raw.

risa and asher are really “if you match my energy, imma match yours” and i absolutely loved that. ugh the friendship dynamic between everyone was just perfect to me, the chemistry and closeness was imagined very clearly.

i highlighted so many things. btw, this cover really captures the warmth/good feeling of the book to me!!
