If you’re looking for something light and wholesome, look no further. This book is a sweet, cozy hug. Set in a now/then timeline between the 1920s and 1980s, it was so well researched and 1920s Brooklyn really came to life. Augusta was a strong MC and I loved the lesson that it’s never too late to learn and grow. I especially loved all the Jewish foods and have been craving chicken soup.
