The overarching plot is starting now! It’s weird how much I forgot from these first few books - I guess I don’t reread these earlier ones as much as I thought!
What I particularly like about this book, especially over the first book, is the deepening of Raphael character’s growth. By the end of the first book, I’m not completely sold on his feelings for Elena; by the end of this book, I’m completely sold! We, also, of course, get to see more of the Seven, which I really like. In fact, though Dimitri isn’t my favorite - and neither is his book - I’m particularly looking forward to a reread of that one for some reason.
