The Library of Broken Worlds by Alaya Dawn Johnson

Did not finish book. Stopped at 21%.

I'm really intrigued by the world and premise, however my brain is just not clicking with the prose. It's hard for me to pay attention and I'm regularly confused on who is speaking and what they're talking about. I'm open to trying again later if I can do audio to have the narrator help me with character differentiation.
