Once again, this series is just fun. I liked the friends to lovers story between Newt and Colin. Their banter was entertaining, and the established emotions between them added a little extra something that was nice to see. The overarching conflict was a little disappointing, but it was interesting how it led to Newt and Colin "mating for science." It was nice to see Colin thriving despite all the previous conflicts from the first two books. It would have been nice to see some of the other characters in the series, other than just mentioning the pack war and an off handed comment about "the Armitage Shaman," aka Arik. But aside from all that, this was thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable.
