to be completely honest, there is no number of stars that is enough for this experience. It is more than a novel, a memoir, a book.. it’s raw. it’s real. it’s rough. it’s absolutely heartbreaking.
Chanel’s truth. Her story. Her hardship. Her experience is laid out in detail and depth and it’s hard and raw it’s heartbreaking.
As a victim that never came forward, it was hard to read at times because so many people who are victims that do not come forward don’t because of the reasons she states outride and describes in how she feels.
I listened to the audiobook and it was so impactful to listen to her tell her own story. She absolutely did not deserve what happened to her, and it breaks my heart what she went through and how she was feeling.
Chanel is one strong bad ass woman. I am so proud of her.
