I wanted to really love this book but there’s so many things that irked me. And made it so much less enjoyable. Adeline was witty and funny but also there’s so many mentions of her drinking and getting drunk.
Zade is hot and would say the best sexy lines and then follow it up with the biggest ICKS I’ve ever read. He says he’s her new god like that’s so weird.
But this made me want to stop reading altogether: “Are you saying you’re my daddy?” “That’s right, baby. And you’re my good little girl”. Coming from a guy who saves children from sex trafficking, calling your stalking victim “my good little girl” is so wrong and disturbing.
