Zami: A New Spelling of my Name
by Audre Lorde
Overall this book made a strong impression, especially the description of her relationship with her mother, her reflections on the intersectionality of her blackness and queerness and the journeys she took with the women she loved. It feels authentic, unapologetic and demonstrates a very heightened sense of self.
