This was a book with a lot to say about nothing. Too many POV and timeline changes to the point where it made it difficult to follow. While this improved later into the story, it was kind of a too little too late type of deal.
I also feel there were too many side stories going on that didn’t end up coming into the main one in a meaningful way at all. Like yes, they all connected but it really would have made no difference if they didn’t.
As for the whole mystery, I expected a lot more. Nothing about it kept me curious, I think I just wanted to find out cause I got as far as I did.
Overall not a BAD read, just not a particularly interesting one.
