Where Lightning Strikes by A.L. Jackson

I don't understand why authors insist on sterotyping rock stars as bad boys who are broken and can only fall in love with equally broken bad girls.
I really need to learn my lesson on bying a whole series before I've even read the first book, because that's exactly what I did for this series. I didn't like the first two books, and this one I liked even less. It took me months to pick up this book and give it a chance, and honestly what a waste of time.
The way their intermonalgue or thoughts are written sound more like poetry then natural thoughts. It just sounds so forced and annoying. If I wanted something poetic I'd read a poetry book.
It also drove me crazy that with Tamara you had some idea of what happened with her, but with Lyric there's almost nothing to go on. It makes it hard to sympathize with him and understnad his actions, aka his assholeness. You literally don't find out what went on in his past until almost the end. Mind you it's all shoved into one chapter that took me an hour to read. Talk about overkill, spread it out at least.
Epilogues are almost always my favorite part of a book, and while this one had some sweet moments it made me more frustrated than anything else. I want to know who took over for Baz! It amazes me that there eeven is still a band with the amount of members they seem to go through.
