Pretty Things by Janelle Brown
3.0

This back and forth narrative of silver spoon fed Vanessa and cunning Nina helps you piece together this tangled web of family, greedy, and privilege. During certain parts of the book, you have to re-live something you already read which can make this feel like it drags a little. BUT, I do think the author had a lot of purpose in this so readers could learn something different about Vanessa and Nina. This one is more family secret-mystery, but certainly has a good twist or two tossed in to keep things interesting.
