Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

5.0

The thing that made me fall in love with this story was literally everything but Alice as a character. It didn't bother me so much, but occasionally I did annoy me a little. If you liked this story, I'd recommend you read [b:Heartless|18584855|Heartless|Marissa Meyer|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1477740245s/18584855.jpg|26322524], which is about the story of the Queen of Hearts and how she came to be the person she is in Alice in Wonderland. As I read Heartless before reading the original story, it was amazing recognising all the little details and correlations between the two (three, if you count [b:Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There|83346|Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, #2)|Lewis Carroll|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1359299332s/83346.jpg|17240250]) books. It'll add another layer to the characters and the story, which I thoroughly enjoyed exploring.
