Wow. I am so touched by this book I don't even know how to begin to explain. It was so complex and even though it was a war stroy it was so full of life. So cozy. Aida and Jamie are amazing children even though they've been through a lot. To hear their thoughts of the war, their childish thoughts so innocent, it really opens up a new perspective. I was almost in tears at some parts. But I enjoyed and truly loved every second of this book. I was never bored or tired of it. I definitely think that everyone should read this book and the first one as well. It brings joy and sorrow at the same time. It's something I can't begin to explain.
