I listened to the audiobook and it was amazing! The narrator brought out both the humor and horror of the book. I knew this was a haunted house story prior to starting it, but it’s so much for than that. I loved the
themes of motherhood and just what Margaret would go through to keep her daughter safe. The way the story was told was great too, with the flashbacks to the past while trying to connect it to what was happening in the present.
Definitely kept me guessing! The last 2 chapters were my favorite, so brutal and had me holding my breath as the tension escalated. I really enjoyed this book, highly recommend!
