The Stand-In by Lily Chu

Holy crap.
Like, I had expectations going into this. I was expecting a funny, romantic, light story about the struggles of a normal woman trying to impersonate a movie star and struggle with her feelings for a hot guy....
But, what I got was SO MUCH BETTER!!!!
This was heartwarming and deep in a way I was not expecting. I really like Gracie's feelings regarding being biracial and still being able to pass as a Chinese movie star. I did not expect certain plot points and so it was surprising at times and that made it all the more enjoyable.
This also has a great romance with no spice, so if you don't read spice, this is great.
I just really loved this book.
