I’m so glad I listened to everyone who said to keep going even though I didn’t like book 1. This was sooo much better. Though still not GREAT writing, and still way longer than it needs to be, Garrett and Jennie’s store was so cute. I liked watching Jennie overcome her struggles and Garrett patiently waiting to get her there. Carter was unbearable in book 1,  but be was way more manageable in this one
