A most excellent start to this series of books from Abby Jimenez. I loved or hated characters, I felt deep feminine rage, but I also laughed often. I’ll add some of my favourite quotes at the end. No spoilers.

I adored Alexis and Daniel’s story and was rooting for them immediately. The one night stand and forced proximity was a perfect storm.

I definitely hated Alexis’ friends, but loved her BBF Bree. I also hated her father and mother, but loved what little we heard of her brother. Maybe we’ll hear more about him later in the series. I also loved Daniel’s friends.

Toxic relationships and emotionally abusive males are a major focus in this book. If those are triggers for you read with caution.
