Barbarian Mine by Ruby Dixon

Okay, I absolutely loved this one, definitely my favourite in the series so far! The caveman/Tarzan & Jane vibes were immaculate, they kinda reminded me of the first book. This book answers a few questions from the book before and when it started with Harlow being clubbed over the head and kidnapped, I wasn’t sure where it was gonna go. I thought this book was gonna be just like Barbarian Alien, but it wasn’t, and It was just sooo good. The only thing I wished for in this book was that we got to see more of Harlow and Ruhk in the cave after they finally mated. This book was the first that we saw of the not-hoth and human babies. Both Harlow and Liz gave birth in this book, and the scenes were so cute and heartfelt. Honestly, my heart broke for Ruhk, his story is so sad, and it was so nice to see him finally have a family at the end of the book. I think if his father wasn’t already dead, I would have been rooting for him to be!

‘In that moment, I want to give Rukh everything I possibly can. I want to give him a mate, a family, teach him about sex, and share everything every day together. I want him to know he’s not alone. I want him to know someone else loves him. Someone else is there for him.’
