4.5 ⭐️ Beautiful and heartbreaking I really enjoyed reading this. I appreciated how the author stayed true to the character’s ages and how they would be feeling as teens/young adults going through this. I saw a review that was disappointed they strayed past certain events and didn’t stress on them too much but honestly as a ya book from the POV of the MC it stayed true to how a lot of kids were probably feeling. Not fully understanding the severity of it in the beginning, being disappointed in fun being ruined. But I also enjoyed the character growth and how the MC grew in her views, started to understand the severity of the world around her, ect. The side characters had interesting stories too.
