Ok so funny thing: when I was reading the previous book I got super excited when Dylis was introduced. I was like WHO IS THIS GUY? Haha
I thought he was so funny and I loved how they basically worshiped women.
And then I finished the book and looked up what the second book was gonna be about… the way I squealed with joy when I found out that hot guy who made an appearance in the first book is the main character of the second…
Errr merrr geeeerd !!!
I absolutely LOOOOOOVED this book.
I loved it even more than the first one.
I think it’s just personal preference.
I just prefer a male character with that type of personality: funny, sexy, loyal, brave and suuuper devoted to his woman.
Don’t get me wrong I loved the first book. But Wynter is constantly doubting Khamsin. Like literally every time she does something he straight away goes to the worse case scenario and assumes she betrayed him. And he is jealous, possessive whereas Dylis is stable, safe, and mentally strong.
Although Wynter is a lot calmer and better in this one.
But I just prefer Dylis and his sense of humour and love that he’s a bit more of an adventurer.
I also loved that Khamsin and Wynter didn’t disappear in the background. They actually have a significant role in the first part of this book and I really enjoyed seeing them again and love scenes of them together.
I absolutely loved this book! And omg the ending!
