This book is unlike anything I've ever read. Witty and acerbic, it presents us with a hilarious story about how we shouldn't let out past define us and should instead create our own identity and live according to what makes us happy, what makes us... Us.

It's also a great portrayal of a dysfunctional family, of a dysfunctional mother in particular. If you have either of those, or both, you really should consider giving this one a chance.
