Review:

Story: The first thing I want to mention here is that the "dark" part of this dark retelling is not exaggerating at all. This story is dark with all caps in bold and italic. It does have quite a bit of heat as well. I loved it though. I read the entire story in a day. It definitely makes you rethink everything you knew about a beloved classical story. I really don't want to tell too much about the story. It's really best to go in with fresh eyes in my opinion.

Characters: You have all the beloved characters from Peter Pan, but not in the way you remember them from the beloved classic. That's all I'm going to say about the matter.

Critiques: Nothing.

Final Thoughts: I thought this was going to be a standalone novel until I got to the end of the book. It turns out there will be at least one more book. I'm not sure when it will be coming out. I am very intrigued about it though. Personally, I thought this book ended well, but I'm always a sucker for reading sequels to books. I really enjoyed this book very much. Yes it was intensely dark, but I happen to enjoy dark. As long as it's not too gory. This wasn't that at all. I'm also sure that many people will enjoy the spice levels in this book as well.
